Volunteer

Your help is needed to host the 15,000 people that will be visiting our community. Meaning hundreds of volunteers will be needed to perform a variety of vital functions!

Volunteer Positions:

Beverage Garden Volunteers: Work Shifts	Volunteers are still needed for the 10 pm to midnight shift. It's a great way to have fun during the RAGBRAI visit to Spencer is by volunteering at the Beverage Garden. The garden will be located alongside the entertainment on the green space along the north side of the Events Center. The Beverage Garden will proudly serve both Miller and Budweiser products from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft, Budweiser, Bud Light, Mike’s assorted flavors, Bacardi assorted flavors, Red Bull and water. A concession stand will be open in the Events Center from noon to midnight.

Campground Volunteers :	10-12 volunteers to man Gate C throughout the day 10 volunteers with bikes needed to guide support vehicles to their campsites. 4-5 Volunteers needed to park cars in the silver lot east of the fairgrounds

RIDES Buses :	10- 12 volunteers needed throughout the day and evening to ride on the buses. These volunteers will be letting the riders know where things are in the community, as well as, showcasing all that Spencer has to offer. 8-12 Volunteers needed to sell bus passes throughout the day

	All the profits would go towards the Spencer Ragbrai committee. The shuttle's will run after that - but by then - most of the sells are done. We will use our Rides tents for shade and I can provide the tables and water.

Lance Armstrong LIVESTRONG Booth:	10-12 volunteers needed for each shift 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Volunteers will be passing out brochures and marketing items.

Volunteer are needed in two hour time slots . Decide which committees best suit your interests and check the appropriate boxes.
Hospitality: You will be asked to place and remove signs, sell T-shirts, greet riders, etc.
Information Center: Volunteers will be asked to hand out maps, answer questions about our activities and services, etc.
Vendors: Volunteers will be asked to help food and other vendors find their assigned spots, make sure only approved vendors are on site, etc.
Beverage Garden: Volunteers will be asked to sell tickets serve beverages, check ID's for age restricted areas, etc.
Campground: Volunteers will be asked to help riders find their camping area, etc.
Shuttle Service: Volunteers will be asked to take money, hand stamp paid riders, ride on buses to be "tour guide," etc.
Entertainment/Special Events: Volunteers will be asked to sell tickets to rides, assist in crowd control for bands, etc.
